About Me
I’m Luis Martinez, a technical game developer who loves crafting creative mechanics and systems in Unity. I currently specialize in stealth-driven gameplay, emergent encounters, and building tools that empower player freedom. I studied Game Design & Development at UCCS, and I’m currently developing Farm Invaders 2, a quirky stealth game about stealing cows under the cover of darkness.
Farm Invaders - Unity
GDD 4900
Farm Invaders was a solo dev project I started in my Game Design cap stone course and is a project I have continued working on throughout the year. I made the game from the ground up, including programming, level design, sound design, UI, and animations.
Penguin Noir - Unity
GDD 3200
Penguin Noir was a project my game design class worked on as a team. We collaborated and released it over the course of two semesters. There were 13 people on the team and my contributions to it were mainly in the form of programming. I also did some level design, particle effects, UI animations, and the state machine for the Unity 2D Animator.
Shoot The Moon - Unity
P1 Games
Shoot The Moon was a project I got to be a part of as a volunteer game programmer at P1 Games. I got to work with a team of 11 people, and my main job was to write code for the game. I also had to implement Art, UI, and Sounds on behalf of the artists into the project.
Guns and Roses - Game Maker
GDD 2150
Guns and Roses was a project I worked on all by myself. I did all the art and programming for the game. The point of this assignment/class was to build a game and add different accessibility options throughout the semester in order to allow people with different disabilities to play your game.
